Playhard Membership Terms & Conditions

Hey girl, welcome to the Playhard social club. These are the official terms & conditions ("T&Cs"). By signing up for membership or attending our events, you agree to these terms. ๐Ÿ’–

1. Membership Types & Cancellations

We offer the following membership tiers:

  • Monthly Membership: Renews monthly unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime to stop future payments.

  • Quarterly Membership: Renews every 3 months unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime to stop future payments.

  • Yearly Membership: Renews annually unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime to stop future payments.

All prices include VAT (if applicable). Membership fees are generally non-refundable, with the specific exception of our Vibe-Check Guarantee outlined in Section 4.

We reserve the right to adjust membership fees (typically for new members only). Any price changes to existing memberships will be communicated in advance and will only apply to the next billing cycle/renewal.

To cancel, use the cancellation option via our โ€œMember Portalโ€ (link provided in the online community platform). Alternatively, email us at hey@playhard.ch, and we will cancel the membership renewal for you. You will retain access to the platform until your membership expiration date.

2. What You Get

As a member, you will receive:

  • Access to 7+ curated Playhard events per month (a mix of free & paid).

  • Most events are exclusive to members, with the exception of "Girls Night." We reserve the right to offer more open events to non-members in the future.

  • Access to our private online community.

  • Special discounts for paid events.

3. Events & Ticketing

  • Whatโ€™s Included? Each event is unique. Please check each specific listing for details.

  • Refunds: Generally, no. There are no refunds for event tickets if you cannot make it. However, you can find another community member to take over your spot. If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund.

  • Uninvited Guests: Please do not show up unannounced or bring guests who did not RSVP.

  • No-Shows: For some of our more popular events, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee (typically CHF 25โ€“35) if the attendee does not withdraw their RSVP within the allotted timeframe (usually up to 24 hours before the event) and fails to attend. You will see a specific notice under every event where this applies in our community platform.

  • Travel: Travel to events is your responsibility. Most of our events take place in Zurich.

4. Refund & Guarantee Policy

4.1. General Refund Policy All membership payments are non-refundable. The sole exception is for new members who meet the conditions of our "Vibe-Check Guarantee" as detailed below.

4.2. The Playhard Vibe-Check Guarantee We offer a conditional satisfaction guarantee on the membership fee for new members to ensure Playhard is the right fit for you.

  • Eligibility Period: The Guarantee is valid for the first thirty (30) calendar days from your initial membership activation.

  • Conditions: To be eligible, you must complete the following within your first 30 days:

    1. Attend one (1) qualifying Playhard community event. Qualifying events include our official Newbie Brunch, Girls Night, Brunch, Book Club, or Games Night. Please note that attending other events does not qualify for the Vibe-Check Guarantee.

    2. Introduce yourself in the "Intros" chat on our private community platform. Please write a genuine, descriptive introduction sharing your interests and story.

  • What's Refunded: The Guarantee covers your membership fee only. It does not cover any costs paid for event participation (e.g., Padel court fees, brunch meals, or workshop tickets).

  • How to Claim: If you have met the conditions and feel Playhard isn't for you, email us at hey@playhard.ch within your 30-day eligibility period. Your email must include the date of your introduction post and the name/date of the qualifying event you attended. Once we verify the conditions are met, we will process your full membership refund.

5. Community Guidelines

Playhard is a safe and supportive space. Members agree to be respectful and inclusive, and to avoid harassment or unsolicited promotions. We reserve the right to revoke membership for violations. In the rare event that membership is revoked due to a violation of Community Guidelines, no refund will be issued for the remaining membership period.

6. Photos & Videos at Events

We often take photos and videos at events for marketing on our website, social media, or other platforms. By attending an event, you agree to being recorded unless you inform the host at the beginning of the event or email us at hey@playhard.ch with a removal request. We will always do our best to honor opt-out requests. ๐Ÿ’Œ

7. Data & Privacy

We collect some data to manage your membership and handle it in line with Swiss data laws. We will never sell your data. Our full Privacy Policy is available upon request.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these T&Cs occasionally. When we do, weโ€™ll notify you via email with 14 daysโ€™ notice before the new terms take effect.

9. Liability

Participation is at your own risk. Playhard is not responsible for any personal injury, lost items, or emotional damage from making too many new besties.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich. Playhard is operated under a Swiss sole proprietorship (Einzelfirma): Elza Legran, based in Zurich, Switzerland.
