All our communication at events and within the community happens in English.

We created the community for those in their 20s and 30s, and most of our members are between 25-35.

No, living in Zurich is not a requirement. We have members joining from towns and cantons surrounding Zurich. Although all official Playhard events happen in Zurich, you are free to organize member meetups in other places.

We have a mix of weekend and weekday evening events to cater to different schedules. With ~15 socials a month you’ll definitely find those that fit your schedule.

Your membership grants you access to all of our events. Most events are free for members. Others that require more resources (brunch with a stylist, vision board etc.) are charged at a discounted member rate. We’ve got you!

1. Right after you join: You'll receive a confirmation email. You're officially in!

1. A bit later you'll receive a second email with your exclusive link to join the community app.

2. Once you're in the app: You’ll have immediate access to the full calendar of upcoming events, member channels and chats, and everything else Playhard has to offer.

3. We host newbies-only brunches so you get to meet other new members in a relaxed way.

4. Please also join our newbie-chat so you get the easiest transition and full support as a new member.

We intentionally designed our membership around a quarterly (3-month) cycle instead of a monthly one. While it might seem like a bigger commitment upfront, our experience and behavioral science shows it's a better way to help you build the deep, meaningful friendships you're looking for.

Yes, we offer an option to pause your membership when you’re traveling from 3 to 6 weeks at a time, with 9 weeks total per year.

Yes, babe, you can cancel anytime to prevent future payments. You will be able to do so via a Member Portal. If you have any difficulties, feel free to reach out to hey@playhard.ch and we will help you.
